End of Summer Flicks
Fly
Me To the Moon, August 8
The year is 1969 and everyone is
anticipating the first manned launch to the moon including three
tiny flies, Na,IQ and Scooter. Inspired by his Grandpa’s
tale of hiding aboard Amelia Earhart’s plane during her famed solo
cross-Atlantic flight, Nat comes up with a scheme for the three
young flies to stow away on the Apollo 11 rocket. When a N.A.S.A.
Ground Control official catches sight of the stowaways, he instructs
the astronauts to store them in a test tube for study but an
electrical short causes the ship’s engine to malfunction allowing
the three friends to escape and fix the problem. They continue to
walk the moon!
