Baby Sleep With Hot Water BottleWhen my son was about 2 months old, he had a hard time continuing his sleep once I settled him down in his crib after falling asleep on my shoulder. I thought about how I could make him more comfortable. I thought about stuffing a pillow or two next to him, but of course that's not recommended at all. Then I started to put his sheets in the dryer, then slap them down on his mattress right before tucking him in to make him feel warmer and as though he was still around a warm human. Well that worked twice...continued below
Then I had the brightest idea yet. I took a water bottle (you know one
of those red rubber things that you fill with water and screw the cap
on) and filled it with warm water, wrapped some of my worn shirts
around it and nested it next to my son. It worked!
The scent of my clothing lingered around my son and the warm water bottle made it feel like there was someone still there. I have to admit I had trouble finding the bottle so I ordered it online. Just click the image to find out where to buy.
