Eco-Friendly For Baby

Baby Wearing Organic ClothingIn the town of Brooklyn, New York there lives a little company named Kee-Ka who designs expressive, eco-chic apparel and gifts. Why are we reviewing them? Well, first and foremost they offer an array of organic-friendly items for our wee little bundles. Why the craze for organic? Well, organic clothing is not only great for your baby's tender skin, but it great for the environment as well because cotton crops total to only 3% of the world's agriculture, but use 25% off the world's insecticides. Yuck! It takes about one third of a pound of these chemicals to product cotton for one t-shirt. Seven of the most common pesticides used on cotton are likely to be human carcinogens according to the EPA and if you're not buying organic cotton, think of the pesticides that are found on your child's clothing.

Kee Ka Organic ClothingSecondly, we adore Kee-Ka because the sweet designs are tantalizingly cute! Kee Ka carries everything from woven blankets, fleece capes, hooded towels, to simple onsies, bibs and blankies. Each item is sweetly embellished with an assortment of designs including a scumptious-looking cupcake, a tiger cub, a silly monkey, the perfect pear, a prince or princess and much much more. Our favorite is the little peanut! All items are incredibly soft, durable and will spoil any little baby. And oh, did we mention each goodie come in it's own little brown box ready to be shipped as a gift? Too sweet! Check them out here.
