I've always used hand sanitizers throughout my college years after noticing how many times I got sick my freshman year. I knew that more people in one place touching and feeling the things you touch and feel, the more germs are spread. And the more germs that spread, the more I'd get sick so I tried to touch less hand rails, less library books and washed my hands often but I still got sick over and over again.
My friend recommended using a alcohol based hand sanitizer, and I did. Low and behold I barely got sick my sophomore year! So, I use a hand sanitizer before eating, after cleaning and whenever my hands feel grimy....continued below
When my son was born, I noticed hand sanitizers all over the hospital. We used it before touching our baby, after changing his diaper and before feeding him. At home we keep a hand sanitizing gel bottle at the changing table and in every bathroom to reduce the amount of germs we spread to our baby.
In a clinical trial conducted by the Children's Hospital in Boston, 300 families that used hand sanitizers in their home and at daycare reduced intestinal infections by 60%! So everyone here at BebeReviews agrees hand sanitizers are a must have!
Of course hand sanitizers don't replace the old wash you hands with soap. Hand sanitizers only kill germs not remove the microscopic pieces of dirt left on your hands. I've read many articles stating washing hands and then using a hand sanitizers should go hand in hand.
