By the time your baby is finally ready to graduate to the potty seat, you would have paid hundreds for diapers. Take these few tips to save money:

1) Clip coupons, but not just from papers. Check online for printable coupons, subscribe to diaper brands' newsletters, create registries at Target and Babies R Us because they'll also send you coupons.

2) Buy in bulk. Larger boxes of diapers means fewer trips to the store and savings in the pocket.

3) Try out bargain brands. Target has their own Up & Up brand which offers all sorts of products including diapers and they are reasonably priced. Costco also sells their own brand of diaper, but if the bargain ones you test causes more leaks, stay with brand name ones or you'll lose more money than you're saving.

4) Buy ahead. If a certain size of diaper is on sale but you won't need it for another few months, just stock up now. Costco offers a coupon on Huggies diapers a couple times a year but if you end up over-buying a certain size you can always return it, even if it has been a year.
